C-Class W204 Official: 2011 C-class (W204 facelift)

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204) is the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It was manufactured and marketed by Mercedes-Benz in sedan/saloon (2007–2014), station wagon/estate (2008–2014) and coupé (2011–2015) bodystyles, with styling by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer. The C-Class was available in rear- or all-wheel drive, the latter marketed as 4MATIC. The W204 platform was also used for the E-Class Coupé (C207).
What a great update to this car. I would love to see the wagon on sale here in the states. Looks supremely better than the GLK.

The silver painted plastic on the center console - except for that, the interior looks great.

Blasphemy..Sunny u should head to ur nearest MB dealer right now and ask nicely to open the car for u to enjoy the fine interior.

There only is the highest quality REAL aluminium in the center console of the SLS. Amazing quality, the best I've ever felt probably. It even feels 5 cm thick!!

+1

I like it from this view

A pretty damn substantial update and a mostly pleasant surprise.

The interior update is something of a shocker. I was always turned-off by the W204's rental-grade interior and this appears to throw things back on track (dunno if the tactile matches the optics but looks promising).

The new rear treatment really classes things up and makes the car appear more in-line with the sticker price.

But the front... Well, it looks quite good but we've seen this "Completely Livid" expression on dozens of cars now - many of them BMWs. On the upside it also bares a striking resemblance to the double-facelifted SL.

This FL wins on points, but I prefer the old front-end styling as it spoke the same language as the greenhouse - which said 'stately, in a small package.'

Front: Horrible IMO
Rear: Can't see any changes compared to the old C other than the leds, looks boring
Interior: Major improvement, at last a MB interior that I like.

All the talk about the front is identical to the ones we had when the SL got FL,we didn't like at first then it's one of the most if not the most gorgeous roadsters on sale now.:)

In conjunction with the improved 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission and the ECO start/stop function included as standard, the C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY both deliver top-class figures with a combined diesel consumption of just 4.8 litres per 100 km. This corresponds to CO2 emissions of 125 grams per kilometre.

well it looks like they're offered

So we wont have updates to the 3.0 and 3.0 diesel?

I asked about the 350 CDI on another forum and was told its details will be released later. If you look at the pictures of the back of the white estate it is a 350 CDI and the slate grey estate is a 350 CDI 4matic.

If I have read the reports correctly all automatics will be 7 speed.

I believe all except the 250CDI 4matic will be 7G Plus from the start, the 250 CDI 4matic will have the existing 7G which it has had from launch and will get 7G Plus in June.

Stewart.

The official w204 facelift world presentation and all the pictures are made in our country, exactly in the WONDERFUL TENERIFE ISLAND (CANARY ISLANDS), SPAIN.

We invite you to visit.

Many thanks.

Yeah, all automatics will be 7G now. A very welcomed update. I suppose the 7G+ means it works with start-stop and must be slightly more efficient...

It's a fantastic facelift!!!

Looks more mature than the current C63, and classier/cleaner. However, it seems to have lost that "boy racer" aggression from the original, for better or worse.

Also, I'm not sure how I feel about AMG's now blacking out the middle of the bumper-bottoms ("toothless/gaping" look). Now that AMG bumpers are so readily available to non AMG cars, I guess they had to find something to do, to separate them visually.

^ Very much agree that its lost the boy racer look and im not sure myself if its for better or worse as it gave the C63 a distinctive look.

A few have said the headlights shouldnt have been changed, they look worse etc but truth is, even if the new lights dont look as aggressive, mercedes need to have this car looking fresh in 3 years time as well and so a change in headlights were required. Expect the full LED treatment to be standard in the final 6/12 months of the C class to push sales. On the other hand I think for the AMG they should have stayed with the original headlights (A bit like what BMW have done with the M3) as the AMG treatment would ensure the lights and the rest of the car look fresh, all IMO of course.

I LIKE A LOT....

It looks very classy ooh and that interior is just awesome i was hoping for he E style AMG gear lever..

All in all its very good i think the pre facelift which i had looked a bit more agrresive with the round fog lamp burt i prefer this to the pre faclift.:icondrool
