Other than internal head-and taillamp graphics, the fitting of signature M-B flush retractable door handles and maybe some minor facia modifications, I don't really see much space for an extensive facelift at this early stage of the model cycle.

My only major gripe with the styling on the CLE is the taillight graphics which I think looks cheap and if they fit something similar to the new CLA, it would make a major difference to the aethetics. The interior is where the major changes should occur, the door cards and lower console and center console to get rid of all that fugly shiny black plastic

Maybe they saw how much attention Adro got for releasing spy shots of the camoflauged M2 redesigned bumper and they're trying to cash in on that.

This also has entirely new headlight units compared to the current CLE.
