Cadillac Escalade [Official] 2015 Cadillac Escalade official

The Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV manufactured by General Motors and marketed by their luxury division Cadillac. It was the luxury brand's first major entry into the SUV market. The Escalade was introduced for the 1999 model year in response to an influx of new luxury SUVs in the late 1990s such as the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Range Rover, Lexus LX, and (especially) Ford's 1998 debut of the Lincoln Navigator.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is about as American as an SUV can be. We didn't find the 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 lacking in any way, but if you want something with a little more grunt, Hennessey Performance Engineering and its HPE550 upgrade should help.
Hennessey says the HPE550 Escalade package bumps output to 557 horses and 542 lb-ft of torque with the help of a belt-driven supercharger producing 6 psi. Those gains are 32 percent and 18 percent, respectively, over the stock power and torque numbers.
Hennessey also adds an intercooler system, engine management software and all the necessary gaskets, fluids and hardware.
"The new 2015 Cadillac Escalade is the perfect platform for a Hennessey infusion of horsepower,” said founder and president John Hennessey. “It's luxurious, spacious and cries out for personalization and more performance.”
The Escalade is the most glamorous way to get the HPE550 package, but any of the new stock 6.2-liter engines will accept it. That means owners of the 2015 GMC Yukon Denali, 2014-2015 GMC Sierra and 2014-2015 Chevy Silverado can upgrade their trucks and SUVs too.
The HPE550 upgrade costs $15,950, and comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty. Hennessey also offers a set of 20-inch forged rims for $6,950, and a handful of other bits.

Cadillac ATS Coupe, Escalade to Arrive in Europe Before Year's End

Just like the updates that debuted with the US-spec 2015 ATS Coupe and Escalade, Cadillac will see that Europe receives the new models by the end of 2014. In addition to that, Caddy will introduce Powermat wireless charging on the ATS, CTS and Escalade.

The American luxury vehicle manufacturer informs that its Euro-spec lineup will adopt the wreathless Cadillac crest, but the big news here is that for the first time ever, Europeans will be able to buy the extended-length version (ESV) of the Escalade.

Priced between $71,695 and $92,840 in the U.S. of A., the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, even in entry-level specification, is a tour-de-force of American luxury, style and attention to detail. Unfortunately, shipping and other charges will hike the price of the fourth generation Escalade by the time it hits European dealerships, which is a bit of a bummer.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be available only with all-wheel drive and the 6.2-liter V8 LT1 mill, that produces 420 horsepower and 623 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque. CUE infotainment and Magnetic Ride Control suspension come as standard, by the way. As for the 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan, its main rival comes in the form of the BMW 4 Series.

A 2-liter turbo'd four-pot gasoline-fed powerplant will be offered for the American coupe in this part of the world, producing 272 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). By comparison, the most powerful 2-liter BMW 4 Series is the 428i, which makes do with 245 ponies. In terms of grunt, the ATS Coupe slots between the 428i and the six-cylinder 435i (306 ponies and 400 Nm).

However, there's no competition in terms of appeal here: Europeans are mad about Bimmers, much like the entire world, whereas Caddys are still a bit of an automotive taboo in this part of the globe.

The same price as an S-Class? More than an A8 or 7 Series?

In American marketing, we call this prestige pricing.

BTW, this is the most intelligent Escalade review I could find...far and few.

Do the Brits get the Escalade in RHD? So I wish we got them in SA. I absolutely adore the new Escalade, want one also.

This is what happens when a company decides to forego innovation.

When a GM product resorts to denigrating vehicles such as the XC90, LR4, GLE and X5, you know someone's not telling the truth.
