Giulia [Official] Alfa Romeo Giulia

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a compact executive car produced by Alfa Romeo. Known internally as the Type 952, it was unveiled in June 2015, with market launch scheduled for February 2016, and it is the first saloon offered by Alfa Romeo after the production of the 159 ended in 2011.
Grand Tour Test by Jeremy C. results (Giulia "Quattroformaggio" as he call the car, was tested on wet)..He seemed really excited about the car in that episode...(y)

Amen, dude. While this forum sometimes skews to the German cars (hence, GermanCarForums), for the most part the members here are civil and respectful and open-minded with very little pretense, especially when compared to other car forums out there on the interweb. Yeah, sometimes it does get emotional, but for the most part it's entertaining and educational. Kudos to the moderators and members alike.

Good to hear that QV and the Giulia receiving accolades. Here's hoping this leads to sales and success for Alfa. And all this talk of cheese makes me have a hankering for pizza.

I went to see the new Alfa Giulia, looking and touching. The interior is of nice quality, lots of soft plastic around the big places. The plastic between the front seats and where the gearbox is located is hard plastic but that's the same with the germans. Feel from the buttons are okey.
The standard seats where my butt is placed are too thin for me and not supportive enough but I guess Alfa is available with optional sportseats. I fit in the backseat tjohooo.

Exterior my girlfriend don't think its attractive enough. She was more impressed with their Giulietta. I think it's a nice design altough there is something about the 3/4 of the rear that disturbs me.
Best looking car in the segment? I still rank 3er and C-class ahead of Alfa. The overall design from BMW and MB is more my taste.

The demo car wasn't in the house so I have to come back for a testdrive.

What happens to the Giulia in the U.S ? I don't see any of them here in California, as FCA says it will be here this month. Are they late again?

It's funny, I check edmunds.com website and they have none in the Bay Area. I guess , we have to wait until March for a better selection.

Yeah its a slow trickle (when I said 78, I meant 78 nation wide). A lot of manufacturers are having vehicles getting stuck at East Coast ports too and Alfa may be caught up in that.

I like the look of the Giulia. However, it's too new for us to consider. Perhaps, the price could be more attractive. Otherwise, I would buy the W205 C class.

Sorry to keep beleaguering this conversation, but I thought you might find it interesting that there were in fact a solid amount stuck at the port. As of this morning there's 234 listed on cars.com. They should really be hitting the streets in force this month.

Big increase from 78 last Friday!

Serpens, do you know if those are base cars or the Quadrifoglio?

A mixture actually! 71 of them are Quadrifoglio, although I noticed some are mislabeled. Regardless I see plenty Ti and Base models.
I will check out the base car when it arrives in the Bay Area. Thanks for your info.
