2 Series [Official] BMW 2 Series (F22) Coupe

The BMW 2 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since the year 2014. The 2 Series was created when BMW spun-off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the BMW 1 Series into a separate series.

I agree, major improvement inside out from all angles.

PS, anyone can find a side profile pic of the 135i coupe in red???

No contest. I will say I wished the 2er had the 3rd brake light on the trunk though, that was a nice touch IMO.

It looks fantastic, IMO. My only complain are the rear fender, just like Sunny noted:

Don't like the puffy rear fenders, make the rear wheels look tiny. I don't know why they couldn't just stick to old school flared fenders. Everything else looks good to me.

Superb! It has hints of the Ti - but unlike the Ti, this car is beautifully resolved. BIG (y)

Ascetically it's a vast improvement over the old 1 series coupe.... well apart from the rear which is better but not by much, I honestly forgot how old looking the old 1 series interior was but damn that's where the biggest improvement came IMO. Kind of shocked just how close the side profiles are, if you didn't know it was a new model you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a facelift from this angle.

So this is what will take on the next TT.

PS
Other than the rear its great, front is much better, side is nice to as the old one, and interior is improven alot, but still boring.

BUt that rear.. jesus!

Nah - all the bloomin' detractors again... BMW can't do this right and they can't to that right... sheesh. Lemon Lips somewhat?

Look, it's not perfect but it's also rather fine for the most part. Unfortunately there's a little too much sheetmetal around the rear wheels - an affliction that the bigger and easier-to-proportion C-Class Coupé suffers from too for that matter. On the road it will look superb, however, and the profile is rather reminiscent of that of the E92.

As for this:

That's not bad at all! It looks lower, wider and sportier than the E82. I have no problem with it. Just do a darned M2 now, BMW.

^sounds like alot of excuses..

There is no excuse for bad design, its not like someone is asking why it doesn't have a carbonfibre tub or a magnesium exhaust system.
They could at the same cost designed a better rear.

The 1er coupe rear was so neat and perfect, there is no excuse to this.

Just cause its a entry level car, it doesn't have to have a an odd rear.
Unless you feel that buying a entry level premium car comes with a punishment.

There ain't no way in hell that the designer said when done with the first clay model, ahh hot damn that is some great work and kicked up his feet on the desk.

No way!.. if so he should be fired.

I think it looks very nice (albeit not perfect).

I don't believe in the conspiracy theories that BMW would deliberately design a sub-par product which is near the bottom of it's food chain in favour of one slightly higher up, but the 4 Series is slightly better resolved than this, and the 2 Series nose is better than the (cheaper) 1 Series. Just saying.

I want to see a non M/Sport version because in my opinion the watered down version of the 4 series isn't that great and I can't believe it's any different here.

Overall I think it looks solid. Love the updated interior. Looks much better than the previous gen that we've been getting here in the states. The rear, well, ... it's just ironic they took the most understated and elegant part of the old car and made it look somewhat juvenile.
