Yeah, totally agree, my only problem is that while they make pretty nice and new looking limited series cars, they kept the same design for the Aventador for a decade. They didn’t even change it much with the facelift, this is my only problem. It’s 2021, it could look much better than it did in 2011…

Wow. I forgot that it's 10 years old. It's aged extremely well. I wouldn't saw that the younger 720s or SF90 are better looking.

Oh, that's very interesting. I would have never thought they would spend money developing a completely new V12 when the Aventador V12 is still so new. What's more, the new V12 might only last the life of the following model as well. Of course, "a new V12" might not actually mean it's completely new, it might just be the current engine with enough upgrades to call it new, but I guess we'll see. Very exciting news if true!

Neither did I. Could it have a 48 volt system, cylinder deactivation and electric motor on the front axle? Basically it will by default start in quiet mode.

Those two features would allow the engine to survive 8-10 years of increasingly more stringent emission restrictions.

Yeah, they've had a lot of fire safety issues there lately.

I remember someone from Lamborghini(?) saying years ago that many Aventador fires were caused by aftermarket exhaust systems because some companies remove the heatshield so it can fit in the car.

Not sure if it was a common incident (as seen anywhere else in the world), or due to most OEM’s being unable to send spare parts for the Russian market (being in the automotive industry, I can confirm this really is the case with the ongoing sanctions)

There's a lot catching fire in Russia at the moment, whether it's some kind of protest movement or insurance 'claims' - as a result of sanctions - is unknown.

I have another Aventador in my possession for a month. I'm going to drive it a lot and post a review, particularly in comparison to the other cars I have at the moment because I can drive them back to back. The 765 and the C8 Z06.

I won't hold back. There are some pros to the car, and a LOT of cons.
