Official Thread [Official] Lamborghini SCV12 (track-only limited edition hypercar)

Rumor was 50 km on pure EV range. It will be SF90 Stradale compettitor. When you think about it, it makes sense since Aventador costs nearly as much.

So a jump of 300bhp in one generation? Somehow I doubt that...

It's not out of the realm of possibility, the current V12 is good enough for 830hp or even more, add 200 hp from the electric motors and you got yourself a more attractive car than the SF90 Stradale.

More attractive plus V12 engine.

I was looking at the 918 Spyder for reference, Porsche managed to extract 282 hp from the electric motors. Considering battery tech has moved on slightly within the VW Group, they could even downsize the V12 in order to get a stable 1000 hp and less weight for the car itself.

Anyone seen the latest issue of TG Magazine?
This is the SC20, a one-off speedster similar to the Aventador J from 2012.

personally i prefer the cleaner lines of the Aventador J, i do like the wing and the rear though (y)

Is Lamborghini trying to set some kind of record seeing how many re-bodied "special" editions they can squeeze out of one model and sell for 10x the price?

We've had:
- Aventador J
- Veneno (and Veneno Roadster)
- Centenario
- SC18 Alston
- Sian
- this SC20
- and the SCV12 is also based on the Aventador (although track only)

Like, wow... Selling the brand perception away one special edition at a time, are we?

still think the gallrdo holds the record for the number of special editions, the aventador for the amount of "few-offs"

though some could be considered teasers:
  • the Veneno had the 750hp V12 before the SV, hence the Veneno teased the power output of the SV
  • the Centenario had the 770hp V12 before the SVJ, hence it teased the power output of the SVJ
  • Sian possibly teasing the power output of the aventador replacement?

Imagine how many more we will have now that Winkelmann is back as CEO.

Here is also the latest interview with the man himself.

A Huracan GT3 is apparently 3s faster.
Even worse if you look at qualifying times. To be fair, the guy is not a Lamborghini works driver, probably didn't have much time to set a lap and was following another car, so there is very likely more time to be had. Even so, though, as far as lap times go, this one is not setting the world on fire.
