Incorrect statement on various levels.
SLS Black Series weighs 1670 kg (3690 lbs) (MT), 1688 kg (3723 lbs) (C&D), 1649 kg (3640 lbs) (Sport Auto Super Test).
Regular SLS weighs 1,701 kg.
Also the SLS (and SLS BS) only has carbon-fiber-body panels but is 96% constructed out of aluminum.

i reckon the roll out for the RC F is in line with most cars, especially those in its class, i.e. M3/4, C63 AMG, etc.

Not even close. The M3/M4 was introduced, the press drove it and it was at dealers all within seemingly a few months, 6 months tops. Same thing with the C AMG, by the time they show it, it will be ready to go. This Lexus has been shown over and over with a silly color naming contest and still no press drives. Lexus has some of the worst model introductions going IMO.

2015 Lexus RC F to cost more than the BMW M4 Coupe in the U.K.
First deliveries set for January
Lexus has announced the 2015 RC F will be priced from £59,995 in the United Kingdom.
Costing £3,360 more than the BMW M4 Coupe, the RC F has an aggressive exterior with LED headlights and 19-inch forged alloy wheels. The model also boasts an active rear spoiler, a sport-tuned suspension and high-performance Brembo brakes.
Inside, there's premium leather upholstery, heated / ventilated front seats and an infotainment system with GPS navigation.
Moving up to the £67,995 RC F Carbon adds a variety of carbon fiber components including a hood, roof and rear spoiler. The model also features Alcantara upholstery, a torque-vectoring rear differential and unique alloy wheels.
Both models are powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops more than 450 bhp (335 kW) and 383 lb-ft (518 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed Sports Direct Shift transmission which should enable the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of roughly 168 mph (270 km/h).
The RC F is currently available to order and the first deliveries are slated for January of 2015.
