If only it had a better wheel design instead of those flat aero hubcap style rims then this car would look a whole lot better.

I cant wait to see some performance tests by some owners. If someone can do a CarWow drag race would be great.

The fundamental elements of the exterior design are actually quite well executed. Envisioning this devoid of splitters, fins, wings, louvered vents and scoops would present a stylistically clean, very sleek car. Fitted with rims from the Vision One Eleven concept could be a very attractive addition as well. A bonafide modern interpretation of the W198 300SL Gullwing ?

Of course, how these "adjustments" would negatively influence the intended functionality of the car is another argument altogether.

Yes, the design is quite good, I am just a little tired of it after looking at the concept for a decade. One element that has always (and still does) iritated me is the black vents below the front window. If this vent had started and flowing with the window it would had been better, but the space between looks very ugly imo.

Another F1 driver, another classy, restrained spec. The owners who went for the F1 livery really zigged where they should have zagged. 😁

There is a recall for the AMG One (KBA 15209R):
"Missing split-pin locks on the hydraulic line of the rear spoiler can lead to hydraulic fluid escaping, which can ignite on hot components."
AMG told AMuS they could not establish a link with the recent fire and the KBA states there are no known incidents with property damage and/or personal injury (source).

The recall gives us some information about the cars delivered so far:
It includes 219 cars produced from 12.12.2022 to 09.05.2025, 183 (83.6%) of which are registered in Germany.
According to customer california on the Carpassion forum, the issue does not affect the last 50 cars that have been produced and are ready for delivery. The burnt down car will, apparently, be replaced with a vehicle from another customer, which was not delivered because he offered it for sale within the holding period...

I thought all the cars were sold out long time ago. Strange that he can cancel his car after all these years.

What a beautiful spec, was tired of all the silver, AMG livery ones…

Very unusual to see this colour and spec. It looks good and at least you can see the true shape and contours of the car.
