That explains why I am not drooling over it but couldn’t put my finger on why. The design is a bit Mi6 or bullet proof Defender for the prime minister. It lacks swag and doesn’t shout “top of the line version”.It’s very…”Don’t mention the War!”![]()
I feel the opposite. It's a tough and "up-for-it" rugged look that lends a much more convincing off road-capable image to the Defender. It lacks swag and doesn’t shout “top of the line version”.
The body kit and rugged tyres would suit a inline 6 model that is not priced like a DBX707 or G63.I feel the opposite. It's a tough and "up-for-it" rugged look that lends a much more convincing off road-capable image to the Defender.
Pity though, that the Octa version is seemingly only available with the BMW (I'm supposing) TT V8 and not an inline six diesel which would work better in real world overlanding.
Why that name? Sounds stupid. Why not SV or SVR I wonder.

Production is limited to 1070. I think JRL will create other variants of this car with different body kits and interior upholstery. But for the Octa, it's a pity the G63 exists. G63 is too special and good to be touched.
No it's not nearly the same. That's like asking for a diesel engine in an M5.
I am sure the Aftermarket can only make it….Worse! That explains why I am not drooling over it but couldn’t put my finger on why. The design is a bit Mi6 or bullet proof Defender for the prime minister. It lacks swag and doesn’t shout “top of the line version”.
