The original VW "Kafer"....the Golf I...the I.D. 3.

The latter now joins the ranks of the most significant paradigm altering, volume-produced automobiles in German automotive history.
 
OK, but then what will it have to cover the Model 3 "pricing tier"?
Id range Will come with a camper, sedan, wagon , coupe and maybe a buggy..

Then there is Audi

Eventuellt vag Will have it all covered from a sub 20k Skoda up to a 300k plus lambo/ Bentley or even a million plus Bugatti ev.

I am convinced VW Group would rule the future electric car world. (With Rimac engineering their electric sportscar/supercar lineup)

Having said that, the Honda E's interior is fcuking nicer

Sure, that's all on the cards for 202x but there's nothing tangible to say that VW has an imminent Model 3 tier competitor.

Software-wise the Model 3 is way ahead of any other electric car. Dog mode, ability to summon car, autopilot etc are just a tip of the iceberg of features that not even more expensive electric cars have.
 
The silhouette reminds me of the Golf Plus. The plan of VAG is to produce altogether 150 k electric cars in 2020, that includes also the Taycan. So I can't see this moving into the mainstream soon. Tesla model 3 is lighting years ahead.
 
VAG is becoming increasingly candid regarding their "interest" in Tesla.
 
A Skoda version ...

SEAT may be the first to present an I.D. 3 derivative. The production version of its' el-Born concept.

That’s a lot better looking than the ID.3, especially the front. I wonder what the Bentley, Porsche and Audi versions will be like.

Isn’t this VW’s Leaf competitor? The Model 3 is the next rung up the ladder in price, size and features.

I'd be more than surprised should the MEB matrix be shared with Porsche or Bentley. From what I understand, this platform will be used by the mass-to-large unit volume VAG brands only (VW, SEAT,Skoda & Audi). And by outside manufacturers (i.e. Ford) who have entered collaborations with VAG.
