They are insane. But it was fun watching some "lady" trying to climb up on the X7. Only to be pulled off balance by BMWs security to fall into their hands. They did damage several vehicles by their antics.
Hope no one told them that some of the accessory merchandisers were selling "f#ck Greta" stickers.

It is unfortunate that there appears to be no ability to engage in a pragmatic. constructive discourse involving all parties concerned. The radical environmental fundamentalists whose ideology is one-dimensional and thus unable to comprehend progressive sequences of logic and embrace compromise are confronting: 1.) a government administration in which key federal ministries (economics, environment, finance, transport, education & research) are headed by individuals (career civil servants with, at best, degrees in law) who lack any sort of appropriate, issue- relevant expertise and 2.) a once seemingly unassailable automotive industry that now finds itself paying for its' arrogance, complacency and its' failure to "smell the coffee" before noon. The stranglehold on innovation has been squandered and the industry not only finds itself in a desperate game of catch-up-but also caught in the maelstrom of requirements that sustainable, non-fossil fueled mobility presents, possible tariff wars and an increasing loss of affinity towards automobiles in general.

It's all a bit of a self-inflicted clusterf***.

Sorry but in my capacity as a father and grandfather did you catch that press conference? The way the sheet of paper was thrusted upon her and they way here handlers guided the whole thing. What I saw was a scared child being manipulated.

They all deserve to be prosecuted the way they hide behind a child to deflect any criticism against their arguments.
Look into their background and see their actual intentions.
Why are they not going to be China? Why are they not going to India?
European countries have made great steps in environment issues, some of them quite significantly.

Personally,Vacuous liberal wokeness has gone beyond parody.

No I didn't see the press conference.

For me it also doesn't matter if it's Gretas own will or if it's just her popularity being used to raise more awareness for environmental issues. All the last years have shown that just providing some studies on climate change doesn't change our system a single bit. So apparently it takes some drastic measures to get a real change and to scrutinize things.
Yes the european states are finally taking action but what we currently do is far from being enough to stop climate change. So we aren't in the position to simply blame other nations.

Is that typical VW interior quality in terms of materials are not reflected in the ID.3

We aren't going to stop climate change, it's as inevitable as the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening, what we should be doing is preparing for it, rather than pointlessly trying to stop it.

It is not a black or white thing, where you either stop it or not. You do things to reduce the severity and impact. There is a massive difference between in impact of a 1.5 degree rise in temp vs 2. Google it.

I understand that but the cost involved in making the reductions is massive, and when certain countries aren't willing to help then it makes it even more difficult for the countries that do. So IMO preparation is important, the problem is I don't see anyone preparing for change, all we are doing is tilting at windmills.

I see now. It's a lighter 737 but the engines have very small by pass ratio and thus the high consumption.

115t and it depends on the phase of the flight, in cruise its more like 3.3t/h

I don't think that's the exact model which is an old 737 200 with JT8D low bypass ratio turbofans. Noise regulations alone would preclude that aircraft from being flown these days.
