Poverty spec is a common phrase to refer to the absolute base version of a car, devoid of many of the things that contribute to its reputation... There's no need to get personal.

By the way, rims are temporarily because I do need winter tires which are not available serially yet.

I see we have a new troll. Yeah I have a W140 S500, but I also have a Lexus IS and a BMW 650i that are used for daily driving, not a "2 decade" old S-Class which is an occasional car to anyone with a brain. No one offered any insight or experience or anything else here, so I'm not sure what you're so bothered by but whatever it is, sounds personal. Care to tell us what you drive? I'm betting not.

Did I offer any insight about the car? Or say I knew anything about it first hand? I mean are you like limited? Where did I ever claim to have any insight on the vehicle? I asked what the vehicle was in the picture, nothing more. It's a base, SWB S-Class. Period. WTF are you even talking about and why?

I only said: "Yes, then I'll leave a warm "Grüezi" there". "Grüezi" is the common greeting in Switzerland.

Why does my comment on this bare bones S-Class bother you so much? With those little wheels it's clear what the spec is. Due tell do you think it's a Maybach? I mean apparently it is very difficult for you to understand and for some reason personal. Never said anything about how the car drove either.

I once tried to self learn German because I am a fan of the country and I like trying to learn new things, but I admit that it was a bit hard for me, so I'm still bilingual at the moment. Maybe if I can learn it one day, I'll be trilingual, but not today.

However, among the rules of the forum is to use English as the language of choice when members communicate with each other...

With that said, I posted the recommendation on the previous page about not fighting because I know in which direction the discussion will go to, and we're almost there.

Again, keep the discussion about the S class, and maintain a mature tone with each other while doing so.

Told me that I should stop buying Mercedes and buy a piece of Sh* Tesla... simple because I didn’t agree with you on one thing. I’ve always enjoyed coming to this forum to talk about cars, listen to others, and have an exchange. And I very much appreciate your inputs. I hope we can keep things a little friendlier in the future.

Yeah I did say that since you claimed that your last 2 Mercedes were POS and then in the same sentence you excuse a Tesla for actually being one. It's utter nonsense. I have honestly never heard anything so ridiculous in my life, that because it's fast it can be built like junk and at the prices that Tesla commands. It's specious, absurd, nonsensical.

Also, other than your 2 DECADE old S class, your Lexus IS250 is 1 DECADE old and your 650i is 7 years old, which I recall you mentioned is what you currently drive. So please stop insulting people if you don’t want to be insulted yourself. And don’t go off by stating that you don’t because you do,,,your posts are there to see,,,and no I’m not going to take the time to point out which ones.
