I can easily imagine that BMW CEO Oliver Zipse is so extremely pleased that Maximillian Missoni has joined Team BMW. And is probably plotting some way to clutch Nahum Escobedo's services as well.

This simply BLOWS ME AWAY.:

Hopefully, Polestar will soon offer a far larger variety of paint tones. This is an automobile that begs for possibilities of SUBTLE personalization. Glossy dark metallic tones of green, blue, mocca, berry would be killer. Also brown, beige and terracotta tones of leather/vegan leather.

I agree.

I find myself wondering whether a body colored option as offered on the Polestar 4 would work. Or carbon fiber weave options in a medium anthracite and/or lighter silver-ish tone of anthracite.

Only time will tell. Personally, I feel it would be an unnecessary option - the design works well because of the colour contrast.

Handsome car, but the lack of rear windshield and its prolong gestation I think really nipped its chances in the bud.

Still an epic beauty though. And it appears that most automotive journalists agree. Will it be a relative commercial success ? Who knows ? Odds don't really indicate so. But does it really matter in the context of the gaze-worthiness of it's design ? IMHO, it's comforting to know that automotive designers are capable of presenting exercises such as the Polestar 5. Even if it's most significant claim to success is being a potential exhibition piece at the MOMA.

Probably the best 4 door ev vehicle on sale today. Problem is it took too long. I feel like MB flux motors coming in the AMG XX are on another level, and even though it probably won’t look as good, will have an absurd lead in performance figures.
