Google it. The ND Miata is less than 100kg heavier than the NA Miata.

Sports cars like the 911 could be much lighter than 1300kgs. It’s just a question of priorities for the engineers and designers.

Honestly the first time I have seen anyone refer to the current MX5 as "bloated". It's the same size and weight as the original from 35 years ago, and calling that bloated is would obviously be silly.

Meanwhile a 992 is like 10 inches longer and 5 inches wider than a 964.

That all together weighs 3 kg. A navigation screen is measured in grams.

But yeah, it's refreshing between 2000 to 2500 kg cars.

3kg is too little. Probably around 20-40kg for:
Speakers
Mounting brackets and screws
Amplifier
Subwoofer
Amp for subwoofer
Sound deadening across the entire cabin to improve audio and minimise rattles/vibrations
Auxiliary battery if necessary

All the above depends on specs.
