This will be defined by the size of the battery. And wheelbase does not make such a big difference. Shorter is handlier, longer is better for high speeds. With the EVs one could had enough space even with shorter wheelbase, due to the lack of ICE and transmission.
The most importand is the center of gravity and it will be equally low and in t...

Not to forget the increasingly popular rear-wheel steering in longer wheelbase configurations and the "T" packaging of batteries in shorter wheelbase 2 seat sports and hypercars.

I think that the change will be more dramatic. There will be no need of special sports cars anymore. Before it was defined by the drivetrain layout, like a V12 mounted in front of the rear axle. With EVs there will be no difference in the layout for the sedans and sport cars. 1, 2, 3, or 4 elmotors mounted in line with the axles and battery i...

Indeed, besides aero and styling, there is no reason why an EV "sports" car can't seat 4 and have decent luggage space. The whole, bigger engine == more power will be a relic of the past. The real trade off is battery weight vs range.

Exterior/interior design will most probably become a most important criterion for buyers as the BEV era progresses
With engine and transmission placement not being a factor in EVs, designers will also have way more freedom both outside and inside.

Laws of physics won't change. For example wheelbase will continue to be an important factor.
RWS already changed that to a large degree.

Everybody talked about a 4 door 911 for a long time, no one realized it is already here...

On a serious note, I really wonder what it will do to 992 sales.

It's difficult to believe, that I will say that, but I wish Porsche introduce a sound simpouzer for these EV's... :D

According to a member (soly20) from Netherlands:
Models at first launch (dealer mail):
4S: €109.000
Turbo: €157.000
Turbo S: €192.000
Price is for the Netherlands.

Taycan video above. Is it a turbo? I've heard it would get a turbo name. Even though there is no ice engine)
you mean the aircraft carrier video?
No one knows what version that is , one would guess one of the top 2 versions.

Also no one knows if they are gonna be named turbo and 4s and so on and so forth..

16h and you will know it all.
