I’ve got an M50 on loan at the moment, it’s so freaking fast it’s scary, and it does it without making a sound. I love it, I want it, the dog fits in the back (just) the kids all fit if I leave one at home. I can’t afford the M50 so it would have to be the 40.

The M50 is all wheel drive, it's a lot faster and has less range. The i4 40 is RWD, slower with more range.

I think I must be getting old because I think, in fact I know the M50 is more car then I need, it's amazingly fast, I drove my friends RS6 earlier this year, I thought that was fast, but this would leave it in the dust until you get to silly speeds. The i4 40 is slower, has better range and it cheaper to buy, Bjørn Nygard driving at Norwegian highway speeds managed 670km from a full charge which is nearly 100km more than wltp.

he was on the highway for a lot of the trip, mostly 90, this is Norway after all. Where I live most roads are 80, there is only one stretch of 90 anywhere near my village.

I have a delivery slot reserved for June/July. The dealer has given me a 350k NOK trade in value on our A6 pending inspection and if I hand the car over now, I can't do this, we can't live with one car. Other option is to order the car and sell the A6 on FINN.

I talked myself out of buying an new car. I've had the M50 on day loans twice, enjoyed the hell out of it both times, but everytime I get back into my A6 I realise that as fun as the i4 is it's just not as comfortable and as useful as what I've got.

I have the MINI on order, one new car next year will be enough.

Absolutely no way. The dual motor setup NON M will have almost that in the 2023 i7 M70 and iX M70.

1000 hp bare MINIMUM. 250 hp per motor sounds realistic.
