The Cadillac CT4 is a sedan manufactured and marketed by Cadillac. It replaced the Cadillac ATS sedan and sits below the CT5 in Cadillac's lineup. The CT4-V was unveiled on May 30, 2019, followed by the standard CT4 four months later.
Those were simpler times....

Based on what criteria?
Handling and performance'? Well that would be nothing new since Cadillac already prove it can beat BMW and others in that department.
NVH (Noise, vibration, and harshness )? Didn't see any example of Cadillac beating competition in this field. Certainly didn't read anyone said how smooth Cadillac engines are compared to competition.
Interior quality? Also didn't see any evidence from Cadillac beating competition in this field. Certainly not Mercedes.
Just beating competition in one field (performance) and loosing in all the other doesn't make this car a winner in this class. They've already done this (beating others in performance department).Time to rise their game in other departments as well.
There is much work to be done if anyone wants to be the best in this class. This are luxury class sedans. There is more to it than just a time around race track.

So you believe Cadillac will have better interior than other luxury sedans in its class..and more refined engines than the competition?
When did Cadillac had those in last 30 years?
Now i believe they could build interior to be even better than the competition but with JDN gone i'm thinking old GM(bean counters) will show its ugly head again.
Will they develop new engines maybe? Present I4 and V6 aren't on top of its class regarding refinement.
They are growing now. They will grow even more.
They have developed already a new V8TT. Why don't u believe that they will do more.
30 years are in the past. Now they know what to do. I saw the Escalade's interior. It looks absolutely fantastic. X7 is not even close.
Also I saw the Ct5's interior too. Escalade has the longest screen on the car market. It almost goes to the passenger's side. And it's not just a tablet like in the Benz models. It looks like it was knifed into the dash.

Sure, and that's nice. Nice in the same way that when your favourite football side is down 5 - 1 with 9 minutes to play and upon slotting their 2nd goal your mate turns to you and says "well at least they've doubled their score!"

Anyway, sales are low because of the models. XT4, XT6+ CT3+ will improve that. Plus the dealer centers will be better. Much better.

This is a straight-Speed drag race. Hardly a quality test of a cars complete level of abilities. Which most do say Panamera included shows up the Cadillac at the more interesting things.
I agree. Cadillacs have good engines and chassis, but a very conservative design. Inside and out. Poor attention to details.
But thats all in the past. CT3+ are different.

Yeah one excuse after another. Mercedes, BMW and Audi sales are low too because XYZ = YAWN. You said sales were up, they aren't typical GM BS (i.e alternative facts).
