M8 [Video reviews] BMW 8er/M8 Coupe, Cabriolet and GranCoupe (G14/G15/G16)

The BMW M8 is the high-performance version of the BMW 8 Series (G15) marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. Introduced in June 2019, the M8 was initially produced in the 2-door convertible (F91 model code) and 2-door coupe (F92 model code) body styles. A 4-door sedan (F93 model code, marketed as 'Gran Coupe') body style was added to the lineup in October 2019. The M8 is powered by the BMW S63 twin-turbocharged V8 engine shared with the BMW M5 (F90). Official website: BMW M
Also the dependency on the Chinese market geopolitically puts Germany in a slavery position to China, with the German government being as politically inoffensive and polite as possible. China is just buying the silence of the Germans.

The Merkel-lead coalition government displays horrific ineptitude on foreign policy matters. It is, in part, due to remaining insecurely silent when being resolutely vocal would have been required-and being vocal when it would have been wiser to remain silent. Delusions of moral superiority have led to an image of naive meandering, dithering incompetence. This has left the country situated "between the chairs" with regard to strategic economic/geostrategic relationships with China, Russia and the U.S.

Good message, although sometimes very directed and given from a comfortable position that allows you to propose whatever

The RS6/7 are just slow.

Just because it's slower it doesn't mean it's "slow". By any measurement, and RS 6 is a mightily quick car. This fantasy world where people care about 0.1 seconds is inhabited mainly by vloggers making sexy videos. I personally couldn't give a flying f*** if an M8 beats an RS 6 by a few tenths. Other things matter as much, if not more.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany. Official website: BMW M
