I feel the exterior has lost a some of its aggression with the soft generically shaped headlight. The interior is a massive improvement though, now I think it looks even better than the E-class.

The new AMG kits looks horrible.

Whoa..the rear is so much better..always felt it was to plain..now its perfect..
The interior is BEAUTIFUL.. easily the best lookin in this class.. lovely..:)

The front looks mean.. but im not sure about it..i need to see more and larger pics..

But so far im very enthusiastic..

Lets try to find some photos:)

The interior update is pretty amazing, it's as good as a completely new model. Looks (by far) better than the 3series.
tho
Not much of a fan of the exterior though... doesn't make it look better, only looks fresher because of the graphics, but the graphics feels unnecessary.

Looking good. Though I would definitely look at the alternative option on those AMG pack wheels. Much prefer the current ones.

And here are the engines.

VERY subtle differences outside. Can barely tell a difference, aside from the questionably modified headlights, and graphics.

Taillights are a necessary, and nicely subtle change, the current ones rear looks so cheap and generic with those lights.

Grilles and grille proportions seems unchanged (?). Which is refreshing, as they shouldn't really mess with it.

Interior is like a whole new model. Much more appropriate than the utter POS embarrassment of the current one.

The AMG Kit doesn't have much impact, which is odd. Looks unrefined. Also, the LED's going across it don't really look all so refined, either, for some reason.

Are the basic P1 C300's gonna get the headlights "emo/crying" LED's as standard? That would be crazy. Also, a gip to E owners who don't have that option (if they were to want it), as M-B should have its priorities right, and keep the E having more available equipment than the 2 year older C.

Interior is shamelessly nice.

There is something uneasy about the front, it doesn't look much like a MB. Though the luxury grille helps somewhat.

Some how the back of the wagon looks really bad. Surely it hasn't changed by much.

First impression all in all, the perfect W204 for me is the pre-facelift exterior with the facelifted interior.

WOW i love the Facelift one off the best Mercedes Benz Facelifts in a while. The car looks so much more classier then teh pre facelift to me it looks like in looks the car has gone up a level or two.As for the interior its great great improvement its pure class and the new engines with the economy is just great this W204 has been a gret car for mercedes just see howmany on the road and i can say is with this facelift it takes the car a step or even two steps up.One sad not is i can see the gap between this and my E class being very very small.Really well done MERCEDES on great facelift i wont mind the blue C class looks class......

Well, they certainly made it worse. The pre-fl was definitely one of my favourite Mercs in recent history, now they've given it a more generic look. Not a fan.

I think the C-class is the most beautiful Benz at the moment... ANd to tell you the truth.. I dont see the chancges are positive, though they are hardly visible.

W204 facelift

I do love the interior, which is a vast improvement. The exterior is O.K, just freshended up. I hope they will bring to the U.S soon ( by spring 2011?). The blue C250 CDI is my favorite.
dtd

Yeah, I'm much more at ease with the facelift now after seeing the official pics. It's a great facelift, subtle but visually engaging enough. Model range viewed as a whole, this is now the class leader together with the 3 series in my opinion. They share the top spot now whereas in the past the 3er would be deemed the outright leader. Anything else is some way off now.

Best bottom rung engine range in class, best interior, best ride/handling balance, best looks IMO, best resale value.

An excellent car - practically impossible to fault as a whole. Of course, I could nitpick, but that would be, well, nitpicking.

Remarkable improvement with the interior!

I still think the shape of the headlight should have stayed the same, but it does look more interesting and elegant now. Still need more photos though.

I like it..even the front..its mean..and fresh..

Super update by MB..

Easily the best lookin car inside out in the class..should make the last year of its life easy until a new C class:)

Incredible update. The headlights didn't necessarily need to be changed, but the new LED pieces look incredible; really elegant, yet aggressive. However, such a stunning new headlamp means that the double-fog counterpart will look even worse. The rear, almost untouched, looks great. The interior really looks incredible; I like it more than the E-Coupe's. It's really nice to see Mercedes acknowledge the sub-par design for the previous C; they certainly did an incredible job beefing up this interior. Command online is a nice addition as well. Overall, a really nice job by Mercedes. I'm looking forward to some pictures of the sedan in other colors; looks a little bit odd in Capri blue.
