We’ve had plenty to debrief and analyse over the past few days and many learnings to take forward. Thankfully we can move quickly onto the next race and a new challenge for us to tackle. Our target is to rebuild the momentum we had before Singapore and capitalise on the positive underlying...

2022 Dutch Grand Prix - Sunday
George takes his first P2 for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team at the 2022 Dutch Grand Prix George brought the W13 home in P2 and Lewis P4 after an action-packed race in Zandvoort amidst the orange smoke of the sell-out Dutch crowd. The team opted to start both drivers on the Medium tyre, in contrast to those ahead on the Softs, and the drivers managed their tyres well to extend the first stint and set up a one-stop strategy on the Hard. A VSC on lap 47 sparked a round of pit stops with the team taking the opportunity to pull off a smart double stack and switch the drivers to fresh Mediums. A safety car a few laps later brought VER in from the lead and so with Lewis running P1 and George P2, the team had a difficult choice. The team...
2022 Dutch Grand Prix - Saturday
A Saturday with strong pace for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team sees them qualify P4 and P6 in the Netherlands Lewis lines up for tomorrow’s Dutch Grand Prix in P4 with George starting in P6. Both drivers sailed through Q1, but George was forced to run a second set of new Soft tyres for his second run in Q2 to ensure he met the cut off time. With track evolution proving to be high throughout today’s sessions, the team opted to send the two cars out last for their decisive runs of Q3 - George’s only one on fresh Softs having used the additional set in Q2. With solid laps already on the board, both drivers were improving through the first two sectors only to meet yellow flags on the final corner after a PER spin and were forced to...
