Why didn’t they carryover the chrome strip that run across the rear taillights, that made the GLE look classy
Never thought of it so much. Without it the GLE looks as plain as the new X4/X6 at least the chrome strip would’ve made the Merc look a inch more stylishNo, I'm glad they didn't, it's a cheap American car styling touch. Leave it for Buicks.

Imo it looks rather dullDisagree, makes it look cheap. A Benz doesn't need a Buick styling treatment IMO.

My boss already ordered this thing, GLE 53 AMG and he has some insights. He has been told that the rear lights will resemble the Porsches lights. He meant by that, that it will have the red bar uniting the sides like the coupe suv had.
