Felt like this should have it's own thread by now as we get closer to it's debuts...

Debut is expected to be middle to end of this year.

Anticipated specs are ~ 2,200kg with a ~500-520hp TTV6 paired with 100hp electric motor, making a combined 600hp and 50hp boost mode. Expected EV-only range is ~40 miles. Healthy jump over the current 450hp(470hp final editions).

Handling should be much more tail-happy than the current B9s judging by the spy videos and recent focus on suspension/chassis upgrades with B9 Competition packages.

The front fascia has now changed mid-development for a more efficient and cleaner design, less fussy side grilles.

Heavier, wider, faster. Shame about the weight, but looking forward to see how Audi approaches handling on this car given multiple videos of this car going sideways at the 'Ring.

Love the wider and aggressive body work, and simpler side grilles.

Maybe "a bit too much going on". My pet peeve that applies to most cars in general: Those design-flow obstructive front fender vents. Can't stand those.

Looks quite flat while cornering. Suspension doing a good job holding it's weight.

Vastly different compared to the RS6 C8 Nurburgring shots where that car was a body roll mess and didn't get sorted till the My24+ Performance updates.

I have the M3 Touring CS by few weeks now and I am not only happy, I am way more than happy...but this Audi in my opinion will look even nicer. Not fan of any hybridisation for these kind of cars because of the extra weight, but uaoooo....the look here, will be a winner this time...

I have missed this thread. The Cayenne Turbo GT inspired exhaust arrangements is rare and will make this car stand out amongst other audis.

New RS5 looks fantastic even in disguised form. The exhaust note sounds nice and fruity. Certainly better than other Audi V6 engines.

Oh no.. grille surround extends into the side intakes.. looks like the front fascia is going to be all black just like the RS e-Tron GT 🙃

Not looking forward to that and I'm hoping to be proven wrong, but seems like that is the case.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
