@bmwblog keep seeing posts about NK cars on your site but almost no mention at all to the new 4er. Is the plan for it to be fully EV still on? First test mules should be around the corner right?

Talked about that in the past. It's there. 4 Series EV, that's it.

The title is kinda misleading though. Allegedly this new SUV will have three-row seating, and “rugged” design. More like Rivian R1T and R1S. They say that engineers and executives were evaluating those models and liked them a lot. So I don’t think it’s a “G Competitor”, more like a big rugged family SUV. I think building a G competitor would be kind of a crazy move since that car has gotten so iconic. There must be a REALLY solid reason for people to buy it over the G. Let’s wait and see I guess

Long way to go. Still 4 years to go actually

That was already reported a long time ago. None planned for now. Who knows, could change. The CLAR platform is still there.

I do not see them putting a foot wrong with their upcoming new cars, they just seem to know what they are doing. I hope the interior quality will be solidly built as we’ve come to expect from BMW, none of that cheap plastics in the 5er and X3.

Surely "what we've come to expect" is the cheap plastics in the 5er and X3? A high quality interior would be most welcome, but it's not what anybody should be expecting.

There is a new M3, codename G84. Nothing new, has been reported for a while
