I had already seen it, good review, she is entertainingCan’t review a new BMW and not mention quality. It’s strange watching a review of a new car with a 6 speed manual.
It should be. The 1er is still made in Germany, while the A class I thing is made in Hungary.BMW built a good 1 series, the build quality is class leading.

I doubt the country of build has anything to do with it.It should be. The 1er is still made in Germany, while the A class I thing is made in...
What a bizarre viewpoint. I don't see why the physical location of a factory determines the quality of any product. As if MB don't have any say in it! What about iPhones made in China? Do you think Apple don't have any say in the quality of the product that leaves the factory?! MB are in complete control of the quality of the A-Class, and that would be the case whether the factory was located in Germany or wherever. It's not as if Hungary is a low-developed country!
Oh, it has. The Germans are a very special nation. They strive to make everything perfect but the moment they are outside Germany they are spoiled extreem quickly. Usually it's not only the assembly factory that is located there but also many of the suppliers. And the certification under ISO standards is much easier in Hungary (and any other country in the ex east block) than in Germany. (Just remember the dam in Brazil, which was certified safe from TÜV SÜD).I doubt the country of build has anything to do with it.
