The time has finally come. The time to get a proper car, althoug some might argue otherwise ...but we are genuinely happy to have signed up for a brand new MINI Cooper S today!

We went to BMW Solna today to get a proper drive and to decide if this is the car for us. The salesman was a die hard, bonafide MINI maniac with extensive knowedge of the product. Real pleasure doing business.

Well, specs are as follows:

MINI Cooper S
Chili Red with white roof and white bonnet stripes.
Chili package
Electronic sun roof
Sports chassis
LSD
Sport button
MINI Boost and HiFi
Bluetooth and USB interface
Individual white indicators
Sight package (rain sensor and heated windscreen)
Multi function steering wheel.

Delivery is to take place in early January. I hate the wait already...

Thanks! The LSD is a cost free option when you get the Chili package (as long as the car is manual) so I think it was a no brainer. I would say the sunroof is panoramic, or at least doubble as it goes all the way back over the rear seats.

This is going to be a long wait!

That, on the other, hand is a rather pricey "option". I would put it as an "option" since about 99 out of 100 Minis have it.

Included is:

Leather sports steering wheel.
17" alloys.
Floor mats.
Height adjustment for passenger seat.
Storage package.
Colorline Dark Grey.
Fog lights.
Xenon.
Climate control.
Board computer.
Lighting package.

On the Swedish market you get the LSD and the Sports chassis as cost free options when getting the Chili package. You have them as cost free options since they are not available should you opt for an automatic gearbox.
