Also looked at the ID.3, the price for that was 445,000 not including winter tires and charging station, with those added closer to 500,000, with delivery in 9-12 months.

My mates got an ID.3, I do quite like it but he's had a lot of problems with the software in it, for example not being able to get it to charge past 50%.

I didn’t enjoy driving it, the cabin quality isn’t what it should be for the price, it’s more UP! than Golf.

IMO one would be absolutely insane to take a Mini e over an i3. The i3 is far, far, FAR superior in every single possible way.

That may be the case, and I've only had a quick look, but it does appear that you'd be paying quite a premium for a car that's already got 50k on the clock, and pre-farted in seats (based on a nice spec CPO i3s)

I can't buy a new i3, low KM second hand ones are selling for the same price or a lot more than a new Mini, interest for loans is higher on second hand vehicles.

If you've ever driven an i3 in winter on snow and ice covered roads you wouldn't be saying it's a better car, its horrible. I'm not putting my wife in one.

That's also important, I want to be the fist person to fart in the drivers seat!

Fair enough, I have never driven one in the snow. I do vaguely remember what snow is though!

Also, it has got to be an i3s. But I see it's not available anymore over there. It's on its very last legs here too. Very sad and stupid by BMW.

We will probably see snow on the mountains surrounding my place in the next few weeks. It’s already starting to feel cold.

Had to change colour Moonwalk Grey is no longer available, we're now getting Enigmatic Black one witha silver roof and I get my stripes.

My son passed his driving test today, woohoo, or not woohoo, he thinks now that he can drive he will be driving himself everywhere.
Congrats!

I remember when I passed my driving test, my father sat me down and we had our first serious conversation. He explained to me that that little pink tri fold paper I got was a potential murder weapon. I gotta say, many people are still alive today out of sheer luck!

Nice shot btw!

I crashed my mums car twice in 12 months, the first time was the worst, it did the most damage to the car and the fence I demolished, the second was just a stupid mistake I didn't look behind when I pulled out of a parking space and hit a car.

when I was 18 in my second Mini (the car I wish I had never sold) I hit an elderly women, she died in hospital of a stroke a couple of weeks later. Luckily one of the witnesses was a police officer, she saw exactly what happened and told the officer who arrived that hitting the woman was unavoidable, I wasn't charged with anything. My nana was good friends with the women, she told me I had done the world a favour because she cheated at cards and mahjong.

In the right spec these are good looking cars. I’ve yet to see one that’s the same colour combo as mine.

I drove the new one recently, it’s a better car, no doubt about it, however the problem with it is not enough options to personalise it. I hope this changes when production starts in Oxford.
