This car was one of my dream cars as a kid. I used to have a poster of a Testarossa on my bedroom wall together with a centerfold of Samantha Fox.

I had one these on the wall too and a poster of the Countach. Easily the two most recognizable exotics of the 80s. Tho I will say I like the 512TR most.

The 512 was a worthy replacement for the Testarossa, it still retained its prettiness but with more power.

I don’t like the front of the 512, the 1984 Testarossa is the best looking IMO. Ferrari had terrible fronts late 80’s and early 90’s.

Same I like the original 1984 Testarossa the most. The 2nd FL F512M was a disaster and looks ugly.

Yes, the 512TR wheels make it much more current and contemporary to this day. I'm not saying that the Testarrosa isn't beautiful, it's the original design, one of the most spectacular of the 80s. That unique left mirror on the half A-pillar elevates it to the status of a masterpiece.
