Just came home, after a beer out with some friends and our today's topic of discussion was the best choice of shoes, given the position and knowledge of proper usage of all three pedals. I was complaining about the lack of choice of driving shoes in the local shops and I was amazed that most of my (BMW) driving aficionados friends didn't find this important enough. Out of all, only one (other than myself) found enjoyment in this!
Getting back to the question, are you willing to give up the art of properly exploiting the car over a far more refined (correct me if I am wrong) cruising experience? How good has to be and what levels of "lap time reduction" has a third-pedal-less gearbox have to offer in order for you to skip a definitely more engaging manual?
