Man, you wish the new Jaaaaaag looked like that.

I'll give a hint what the next JaGuar is gonna look like: Have a meal full of Okra, because okra has a lot of fibres. Go to to the loo and take a dump; spray paint your dump in pink et voilá, that's what the new JaGuar is gonna look like.

Welcome to Shit take Tuesday on GCF.

Funny you mention that, because I saw a silver 2011 320i E90 with the "bonnet" open and its owner working on that shitty N43B20 engine of it. Gutless and unreliable. Nice one, BMW.

This one is very interesting. And it has IMHO quite a bit of appeal.

Oh, Cc'mon!

It looks like something-something-IONIQ by Hyundai. 😁

Ya think ?

Personally, I can detect a good bit of Land/Range Rover lineage in that illustration. Not something detrimental IMHO. The illustrations design is very clean, minimalistic and well proportioned. Modern yet not fashionable.

Should the actual production car present a very similar aesthetic, I think that it will turn a lot heads-in a good way.

A LR/RR (4-door) GT labeled "Range Rover Jaguar" (and an ultra-luxury sedan labeled "Range Rover Daimler" would make much more sense, yes. Tata / JLR should ditch the brand Jaguar and use the moniker as the model name only for a model within RR portfolio.

Operating two separate brands - one for luxury SUVs only, and one only for the luxury sedans/GTs - is redundant & unwise. C'mon, even Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ferrari, Aston Martin are offering all the vehicles under one core brand.

No, that won't work, there's too much of a brand conflict there - it's not like the "Jaguar" moniker can work in the same way as "Autobiography" or "Overfinch". These two brands have enough history and consumer recognition for the "Range Rover Jaguar" label to end up as a contradiction. Jaguar has never stood for off-road prowess and Range Rover hasn't either for sporting luxury.

Jaguar's brand hasn't been the problem. It's the (steadily in decline) products that have been the problem. Nobody wants any Jaguar because they're simply uncompetitive in any class they contend in. For every model of Jaguar released over the last 15 - 20 years, there have been several, far better alternatives to: XJ, XF, XE, F-Pace, E-Pace, F-Type.

Jaguar is the Alfa Romeo of the luxury brands. Totally irrelevant.

Anything that Jaguar makes, the Germans and Land Rover will make it better. Want a luxury saloon? Buy a Mercedes S-class. Want a sports sedan? Buy a BMW M3. Want a sportscar? Buy a Porsche 911. Want an SUV? Buy a Range Rover. Plain and Simple.

That massively THICK roof should give a Volvo a good run for the money when comes to rollover time.

That rear end looks quite close to the new Honda Accord.

Look okay but not exactly innovative.
