M3/M4 Leaked - BMW M3 Touring

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
I presume the motivation for launching it in black was to hide the fact it doesn't come with a CFRP roof!

I very much doubt that. But it sure was a surprise seeing this car being launched in black, I wasn't expecting that at all.

for sure but the M3 touring gonna sell like hot cakes
Unless the market has changed over the years or the fact that it is a 3 series influences and surprises with high sales.........., I don't know, but in the last "sampling" that there was, the E60 sold 1,000 touring cars vs. 20,000 sedans (5%), I don't know how much the RS4 sells, which could be a measure.
now this car gives the RS6 a go for its
I would stay 500 times with the RS6.
Thursday
0700hrs Gates open
0701hrs I run in

Probably gonna have a faster time than the Audi RS4 avant

Yes, I'll be there Thursday and Friday. Providing it's not lousy weather you will love it. I dare say there's too much to fully take in, in even two days.

If you want to be there for the M3 Tourer reveal itself, and aren't staying at the venue on the Wednesday, leave plenty of time for getting there and getting in, and getting to the BMW stand.
@as7920 I will be at goodwood on Thursday. Send me a DM and we could meet up and kick some tyres.

It really gives the RS6 a dircet competitor, we dont know for sure but the M3 touring gonna sell like hot cakes
If you value fun over outright motorway pace then the M3 Touring will be worth considering over and RS6. However the Audi is more wife proof thanks to higher comfort levels, bigger boot and generous space for children in the second row.

ring time

Anyone know what time the RS6 completes the lap!
I'm not sure why the RS6 keeps being mentioned in comparison as it is genuinely a class above. But the M3 Touring's time is on par with the M5 Competition, which in itself is no doubt quicker than the RS6 at the 'Ring.

One class above in accommodation but not speed

Accomodation..yes and you will likely find the RS6 is a little better appointed inside too. And more comfortable over longer distances. Each to his/her own I guess and if it was my money, I'd opt for the M3.

As a diehard fan id go for the M3 too not underestimating the RS6 that car is such a machine but the M3 Touring is a lovely car

I don't think they even did a lap time at the nurbungring with the RS6, wouldn't it be worth it, why are we still talking about the RS6? I can not stop....

To be honest, until now, she was the only valid representative of this niche, until now.

This is how the RS6 looks in reality and not in a render, it hurts whoever it hurts, but we will see how this M3 is born

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
