S-Class W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223) Facelift 2024

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.
Looks like it’s gonna have the black surround on the grille, which is a shame tbh. Makes the whole design EQ-ish. And again, more stars. I’m curious to see what they did with the grille itself. Is it an illuminated mess like the GLC or something much more refined and elegant?
This was the best era of design for differentiating each model. Now they all just have random stars.

The grille is actually launching at the same time as the new LG flatscreen. Yes, it's a smart TV with a Mercedes screensaver.

It won't be without the iconic grille. There can be no black frame. It will disappear with the W214 facelift.

The outlines of the headlight suggest otherwise. I’m assuming V-Class like front face, with the black parts housing both headlights and the grille.

The headlight shape just doesn’t make any sense if it’s not connected to the grille by something.
While this render is poorly made, it shows how it flows well with the black surround, and not abruptly ends.
