My Fiesta ST is being replaced with the new Fiesta ST

Still not 100% sure about the design, not based on photos anyway. Probably looks better irl.
But I got a deal hard do refuse so the deal went through today. Still no word on a delivery date.

Fully loaded with everything available. Which mean Performance package is there, includes mechanical LSD, launch control, gearshift lights on the dashboard.
Cool that Ford is working with Bang&Olufsen, 10 spekars together with an awesome soundsystem.
Based on the reviews the car is still blast to drive.
Color. Once you go blue you never go back. My third car in blue.

I hope to get the car in august, not fun to get a brand new car during winter. I'm happy

I do and it's available in Europe this time. 5-doors is what I have on order.
Regarding VW Sweden, Polo GTI isn't coming with manual gearbox to us.

I believe looks will end up growing on you. It is true the old one looked amazing and the new lack certain attractive design features such as the wheel arches. But the overall look of the car is really good IMO. And the interior looks vastly improoved as well.

The new ST comes with 3-cylinders, just like my motorcycle.

"Despite being a three-cylinder unit, the new ST engine will still have cylinder deactivation technology. On light throttle openings and during coasting, the fuel-supply to one of cylinders will be cut-off to improve fuel economy."

I would try the car a few times befores buying it knowing it has just 3 cyl. Maybe it ends up surprissing you, but on paper 4 cyl always sounds better.

The town I live in has a significant Ford presence, not least because they were a significant employer in the past, but also because it's the only dealer in town, and they do friends and family discount for employees at the dealership... anyway, I digress, I see A LOT of Fiestas, and I have to say, I think it's evolved into a really smart looking car for what it is. The front end is great, and they didn't mess up the rear like they often do.

Congrats! I'm glad you bought one instead of a VW T-Roc. The new Fiesta is hugely popular and was the best selling car last year. Design-wise the older one was edgy and looked a big braver while the new one has a tidier VW-like exterior. Personally, none is better than the other - just a two very different design philosophies.

What's most important is that it will be exceptionally fun to drive. I look forward to photos!

Thanks Klier. I need to start searching for winter tyres and rims for the winter season and I think I go with black rims for the winter which I know you hate

I just added Door Edge Protector to the equipment. Looks like a good idea, when you have 10 year old kid wanting to get in/out in my garage.
