Giulia [Official] Alfa Romeo Giulia


The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a compact executive car produced by Alfa Romeo. Known internally as the Type 952, it was unveiled in June 2015, with market launch scheduled for February 2016, and it is the first saloon offered by Alfa Romeo after the production of the 159 ended in 2011.
I still cannot fathom Giorgio platform does not have any place in Stelantis' portfolio. Is it really possible Italians have oversighted electrification of it?

It's a real shame.

Back on topic - are GTA and GTAm a keeper (and value holders)? Possible investments?

If I were to guess, I bet there's a period of depreciations, more so for the GTA, after the 500 cars are produced. After, say, 5-10 years post-production, I think values will tick back up.

EDIT: Actually when I think about it, like limited edition Ferraris such as the F12TdF, perhaps the period of depreciation might be even shorter or negligible.
 
The ride seems horrible - the guys says it rides good while his head is shaking like a rag doll's :D

And @7:15, it seems to want to dart off in every which way.

UK roads are aweful.

I am currently in Portugal for work and can't believe some of the stretches of roads here.

They are smooth like glass, to a level that enable you daily a track biased car in comfort.

I made the deal...Hugely expensive I know but I save the VAT, so let's say about 33.000 euro will be saved and another 20% will be saved in 4 years as an annual detraction from company's taxes... She will arrive after September and I opted for the GTAm.
I know and I agree, the Gt3 will smoke this car in any circuit and it was costing just about 20.000 euro more (with the optionals I desired) but it is simply not available , so at the end, I decided and cancelled the GT3 booking after two years of waiting.
I will be glad to show this car to all the fanatics inside this Forum at the right time...(y). I will try to keep her for many years and if I will be lucky the car will depreciate much less than any new M3 around, reducing the gap between the real final costs of these two cars (the M3 was for some time in my mind of course since I need to change my Quattroformaggi after 4,5 years and 100.000 km, free of any problems).. We will see, but who cares life is too short.

I wish to myself to have done the right choice, for sure I will find it as soon as I will see her in the real life, because at the moment, I based my judgment only on the monitor of my computer?.People with a Quadriformaggi as mine, tested the GTAm and told great great things...so can't wait.Thinking in perspective to the next ten years when electric will be a sad reality, (from the point of view of my passion I mean) I feel sincerely quite lucky.This is my way to react to that destiny...

I mentioned the money, since more than one will think I am simply crazy...while I am strongly rational .I always try to find the right compromise, if possible, between costs and benefit?

Getting a GTAM is as 'irrational' as getting a GT3, when the most rational thing might be just keeping/growing the money. So no worries, important is being able to do responsibly what you wish.
