The 7er has been a strong run for the past 2 years. Otherwise it’s just a 2 horse race in the segment. I wonder if Audi will bother with an A8 replacement.except for the S-class, this segment is pretty dead.
true, luxury sedans are declining while luxury SUVs are risingexcept for the S-class, this segment is pretty dead.
Sadly true even while the stalwarts are so much better executed on the inside. They feel significantly more premium than their SUV namesakes….true, luxury sedans are declining while luxury SUVs are rising

It’s Audi’s own fault this generation bombed. The should have made the platform switch like Bentley did. The large, fwd looking luxury sedan was never a thing. The S & 7 for sure are light years ahead. The current A8 however doesn’t bring much to the table. I’d take a LS500 over it easily.
I think the original plan was A4 downgrade to MQB and A6-A8 upgrade to MSBIt’s Audi’s own fault this generation bombed. The should have made the platform switch like Bentley did. The large, fwd looking luxury sedan was never a thing.
