LS [Official] Lexus LS (XF50)

The LS is not a big seller even in the Middle East, I think its not worth it for Lexus to bring out a new model. Maybe a heavy facelift, but it will be hardly selling in big numbers.

Is Lexus really killing the LS? What a tragedy if so. For me the original LS400 was the foremost and most revolutionary car leading into the millennium.

No shocker. The LS fell off years ago and the Germans have long since surpassed it.

The S & 7 for sure are light years ahead. The current A8 however doesn’t bring much to the table. I’d take a LS500 over it easily.

It’s Audi’s own fault this generation bombed. The should have made the platform switch like Bentley did. The large, fwd looking luxury sedan was never a thing.

I think the original plan was A4 downgrade to MQB and A6-A8 upgrade to MSB

Instead we got full MLBevo with B9, C8, and D5. I think the A8 could've been special even on the MLBevo platform they just made it super dull and boring

I know there are certain interior faux pas, i.e. tacked-on screen, that odd shifter, drive selectors that sprout from the gauge, odd trim and leather combinations, but I liked it. For the most part, it was visually interesting, the touch pints were of quality material, and one would be confident it'll look pristine in the future. The LS and the Honda/Acura NSX really put the established Euro brands on noticed and gave them a much needed kick to the collective arses. Shame to see it go.

He did a video on the LS before it got cancelled
