E-Class W213 [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213 Facelift

The W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, sold from 2016 as a 2017 model. It succeeded the W212/S212 E-Class models. The coupe/convertible models share the same platform as the sedan/wagon, in contrast to the previous generation. The high-performance Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63S versions of the W213 have been available as well from 2016 (as a 2017 model), and these are the only versions with V8 engines.
I have seen a few FL W213 models here in Saudi and although i do like the rear lights and front changes I still think my pre FL looks alot more prettier. The tail light shape and graphics of my car with the star dust effect looks so much more stylish than the fish scale effect of the FL model. The pre FL model looks more harmonius.

I personally think the rear lights of the FL is nicer now that I have seen many IRL, not sure about the front though.

Honestly, its somehow a good extensive FL to keep the E class refreshed for some time now that the S and C dropped with the new designs.

After nearly 7 months of continuous rain (crazy but true) in Sydney, the sunny weather has finally returned.

The past 3 years has pass by in a blur, our E 450 is already approaching 3.5 years old now...with just over 5,700km.

I can already imagine the reaction from @Mick Briesgau.

We are actually very fortunate to receive our E 450, because it was only available for 12 months before the model was discontinued for the Australian market.

It is also the last regular W213 with stitched interior dashboard and door trim, and the last with nappa leather and AMG line interior.

For obvious cost cutting measures and parts shortages, Mercedes Australia decided to remove the option of AMG Line interior for the regular W213, even though the AMG exterior line is now standard. Customers are only able to select the AMG line interior, and nappa leather when you order the E 53 and the E 63.

Very good looking W213, great spec and a terrific shot. Could be an official Benz poster…
Happy to hear the sunny weather has returned. Take care ?

Mate, how have you only done 5700km in 3.5 years. I've done 6000km in 3 months.

It's a crime! I've offered to drive his car for a few months to get him to the 10,000 km mark!
We can when the weather allows. We did manage to arrange a half day gathering and drive during the rare sunny days.

Was very interesting to see the similarities and differences when we have both cars together.

One surprising thing to note, in terms of the spaciousness of the interior, the W213 feels very similar to the W211. It has more leg room but shoulder room and headroom felt almost the same as the W211.

I've done 57000km! In 7 months 😁
That is similar mileage I was getting 3 years ago when I worked on a pipeline project. I did the first 100K in my Tahoe in 1 year and then the clock showed 225K at 2 years mark lol.

How do you even manage?

I have now done just over 6,700 km, so an extra 1000 km since the last update, two months ago.
From February 17th to May 10th I was commuting on a daily basis - 300 km back and forth. Since then, I'm still making something like 900 km/week. But in general I make something like 70-80k/ year.

This is peak Mercedes. Mafia perfection. Might be the first mansory that I would have over a Brabus.

I'm pretty shocked people would put an obscenely expensive Mansory kit on an E to be replaced imminently. They charge economy car money for their kits.
