Panamera [Official] Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

The Porsche Panamera is a mid to full-sized luxury car (E-segment or F-segment for LWB in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Porsche. The Panamera name, as with the Carrera name, is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.
Some of you were raving about the concept and couldn't wait for the production car.

Why the change of heart?

Not me, give me this in 4S form with chocolate brown leather, silver paint, and spyder wheels and I'll be a happy camper. Hell, it might make me want to have kids so I can even justify purchasing this, that is if I had the funds.

j/k about wanting to have kids.

I've noted that as well. Many around the internet were stating that the concept should've been the body style for the orginal Panamera, now that they listened to the masses, the reception is lukewarm at best.

The MY18 Panamera Sport Turismo models are expected to arrive in the United States at the end of 2017. Prices will start at $96,200 for the Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, $104,000 for the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, $109,200 for the Panamera 4S Sport Turismo, and $154,000 for the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo, excluding the $1,050 delivery, processing, and handling fee.

Btwn this and a GTC-4 Lusso, I'll take the Sport Turismo.

I am one of those. Something is a bit off compared to the concept, might be the big(ger) black plastic wing. Still a very desirable car, want to see it in a non-studio photo in a different color.

they ought to have used the concept's more "dynamic" side gill aft of the front wheel instead of the more upright one found on the production version.

It looks good but I am also undecided whether it looks better than the regular model and in my opinion the Concept car looked more elegant and less rear heavy possibly as it doesn't have the small rear window quarter lights. Also the above mentioned less elegant looking upright gills of the production car make it look less attractive.

A bit disappointing compared to the concept. Looks like the rear window is steeper on this than the concept which makes all the difference if that makes sense.

What's next, a Porsche pick-up?

The car doesn't look good at all... That's not a Porsche afaic... :(

If you know how bad things are with VW and the dieselgate case, you'll know that they are prepared to give up limiting certain models on their luxury and sport brands.

What they need is a miracle, a toyota corolla mass production type of car, but greed has taken over their hearts and their pricing is way out of control.

I built one and ended up with $248k fully loaded  I can pick up a Huracan Performante for $300k knowing it is a fun car with a V10 engine that will scream at redline.

Porsche lost me several years ago; they will not get me back with this absurdly overpriced stationcar lookalike. Quite sad, to be honest.

Yep. Diesel Gate is so bad that you will see more models pimped out under the more profitable brands to recuperate all those Billions lost. No matter when those denials come out. It is going to happen.
I would like to think Sport Turismo is a weekend hold all. It's not necessary to have large luggage capacity.

If there is business case for Sport Tourismo, how is it possible there is no sense for 2-door Panamera (i.e. 928), or perhaps even a 2-door Panamera Shooting Brake?
