In fact, I believe the design that seems to be coming to future BMWs seems weaker the more upmarket you get. The iX3 looks better than the iX5. And the iX7 also looks better than the iX7.

None of these are Neue Klasse cars though expect the iX3.
But yeah as it stands it'll likely be true design wise: iX3 > X5 > X7

Must be said the X5 is still subject to change depending on how the camo comes off, but the X7 for sure is last since there's something off with the proportions. The car should have been like 15-20 cm wider overall to make up for all that extra length....

This can be applied to the three core sedan siblings as well. Where the G50 is likely to be looking better (externally) than the facelift models of the G60 and G70.

Agree with all. The bus part is the bad part of this segment though.

I like the proportions. It’s a full sized 3 row suv. I test drove and x7 two weeks ago. I am 180cm/5’11 and even rode comfortable in the third row. I found it relaxing there. Far removed from the traffic at the front and engine vibrations.

I hear you. Small kidneys look superb on the iX3. Any BMW with large ones might look a bit old. The solution is to make the kidneys small but enlarge lower bumper intakes for cooling. However it's easier said than done and the EV bimmers might become the brand's nicests looking cars.

I like the larger grills since they give the car more presence but of course to a certain limit.I wish if the ix3 has bigger grills or at least wider ones
