I reckon that I'll never quite understand why M-B didn't run with THIS particular design paradigm for its' future luxury BEV offerings:

Yeah this would have been so hot as a production electric. They could have at the very least, dropped the CLS without anyone really noticing. I'm waiting on someone to make a concept car for the road, like as is. Just add some mirrors to it lol.

Edit: I'm thinking they could still do that design for the AMG GT/CLS replacement when the time come for an electric to replace them. Despite what Mercedes has been doing, not all their cars have to look alike right? That isn't written anywhere right?

People will be pleasantly surprised when they finally see the entire car revealed. Overall it is a much cleaner design, feels less heavy in its sculpting. It is a stunning looking car.
