X5 [Spy Shots] Next Gen BMW X5 (G65) and iX5 - coming in 2027?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
Wow. Absolutely amazing. Diesel, Gasoline, PHEV, BEV and Hydrogen. There is absolutely no way any other car has ever done this before.
Choice is good. You provide an option for each customer. But hypothetically…Which one would you go for? If they still did the M50d I would take that. But the M60e might be the one to have?
There will be choice of two for the X5M too.

What’s the point with this hydrogen stuff lol

You might want to do some research on that. It might just be the future, and BMW doesn't like wobbling behind the facts like some other German OEMS do. No need to name names.

BMW's design renaissance has truly begun.

Beep......beep.......beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Sorry we have lost the patient.

Did Wilco Blok credit @Uygar BTW? Or did he just steal pics again?

Wilco was the original spyshot.

MB's lightly re-skinned GLE and GLS are going to struggle against these fresh out of the box designs, even if they are a refreshed current generations underneath. The BMW's will have all new exteriors and interiors.
Yep, they are. The thing is though, they will have a chance to one up them in a few years with their own new designs. Every cloud has a silver lining.

I prefer those sinister tail light graphics over the ones on the i3x. It appears that the ones on the X5 will be inspired by the 2-Series Coupe.

Their own new designs will also be based on the current cars right? Or is MB developing an all new ICE platform?

Audi-esque wheels.

Fun fact: all these directional rims we see lately are one design only, and not mirrored for left wheels and right wheels. Meaning the other side of the car will have those blades point the other way.

You can't unsee it once you know it.

I agree and have been saying this for quite some time. I know why Mercedes went this route but it's quite unfortunate.

Kinda...it's like the continued new generations of BMWs sitting on evolutions of CLAR. Very heavy redo of the car sitting on an updated version of the platform.
