C-Class [Spyshots] 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet (C205)

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

...more evidence that when Mercedes-Benz does 4 seat coupes/cabriolets, they are always examples of mastery of the art.

I dunno about it yet. I need that last bit of camo removed. Clearly not ugly but is it really cohesive? I'm still not 100% sold yet.

Damn, I like it a lot!. No more looking like a Honda Accord coupe mainly because the wedge shape has been removed. It doesn't look shallow like the previous one. This version has some substance and elegance for its class. It will look expensive.

(If the C-coupe looks this good already the upcoming E coupe is going to be something very special.)

I've been getting excited about this car, imagining a different dream car garage level of excited, but this latest reveal makes it look too much like a 4 seater. Yes I know it's a four seater, but I was hoping they would do a better job of compromising rear seat room. But I shouldn't be too quick to judge, still looking forward to complete reveal.

I does look neeeaaaar perfect! Probably with the height drop it will be spot on. This angle has me giddy!

I'd expect to see the E-coupe phased out. No way MB should offer both of these products.
I mean, until the next gen E is release, which is an actual E and not some farce from Mercedes trying to convince us that a C is an E.

Aren't all future RWD Mercedes based on the MRA platform? So they are no longer standalone platforms and will share much more than in the past.

yup. but the new e coupe will be based on the new E

They're all based on the same platform (MRA) now, so there's not really a distinction anymore.

Yep. They're smart to still offer an E-coupe though as it'll have higher transaction prices and a hospitable back seat.

These Benzes may be on the same platform, but the specifications will be different. It isn't just a C platform with an E body anymore.

The S-coupe back seat isn't what I would call hospitable. So, I wouldn't bank on it.

The previous CL wasn't that good either. I only bring that up because Mercedes is warning people ahead of time that the C-class coupe is particularly compromised; I would find it hard to believe the E-class won't be an improvement.
