Don’t know much about its life as a game. But as a TV show. Fallout is fantastic. Avoids the traps of modernity of other franchise shows.
 
Had half an hour free, so I started watching X-Men '97 (Disney+). It's a new animated series picking up where the earlier '90s X-Men left off. Actually very enjoyable with some good story arcs.

My only knowledge of the game is the thumbs up icon, ironically I have seen stuck on the rear of a VW Beetle. Does the show align with the game in general in relation to the story of the show which utilises mystery and conspiracy tropes?

To be honest, I redownloaded Fallout 4 again and was done with it in 20 mins. Then I downloaded Fallout 76 and it was the same thing.
I love the game series, but it really needs a next gen/current gen version. It's all so old and done now, and I can't stand the yank and overall poor performance/bugs anymore.

Nevertheless, the series did wonders for the gamer: Fallout 4 (near 10 years old) is on the No 1 position in the European charts with a plus of 2700%. Absolutely unheard of, and they have three other games in the top sales charts now. Bethesda is on a pink cloud, and it's a shame they can't really capitalize on the success since the next Fallout game isn't going to hit before 2030.

The show is an original story with original cast in the canon Fallout Universe. It slots right in but you don't have to have played any game.
