Look how bulky is front overhang on the 5er and how smaller is on W213.

Your beloved E class is simply not up to par. Admit it and move on. E class is best of the rest. Like always.

It's only 21mm [you can hold your thumb and index finger ye apart if you like] and whilst it may make a difference with one's girlfriend, when it comes to seeing cars in the metal it's imperceptible. Technical drawings can be misleading and I, for one, see the G31 as having only a slightly bulkier front-end but one which is offset by fantastic proportions aft of the front wheel hubs.

A6 is fwd, and they have similar front overhang.

No one said it is not. But GTA's assertion was 5er's overhang was similar to the Audi's, which it is far from being. It would have taken him all of 2 mins to google the real figures, but instead he spends probably 15 mins sprouting his bs. That is all.

5er have longer front overhang, with flat front end, while w213 has slanting front end and thinner.

BMW and Mercedes have always had great proportions cause of the delicious short front overhangs, the front profile view of the E46 3-series is still one of my favorite as well as the 190E.

Not sure how accurate the performance figures in this video are but it gives a good comparison between the new M550i vs S6 vs E43 AMG. The BMW is fastest as it has the most power and torque and Mercedes is slowest.
