I honestly didn’t expect it to be so ugly...
BMW putting those blue highlights everywhere is like a Citroen, just Citroen makes it look good actually while here it makes the car look cheap. In the interior there is nothing coherent about the design, they use some fabrics everywhere, and put randomly shaped buttons to random places. The steering wheel looks cool in my opinion but damn everything around it is like it shouldn’t be there. They made a great interior in both the i3 and i8, one understood that it is one design, here it’s like some puzzle...

I really wonder what’s going on in some peoples minds who say this car looks “awesome” but S class was a step back.... lol

I don't like neither the interior nor the exterior. The former looks just empty. Barely no trim insertions, those huge screens so un-elegantly placed, several design features borrowed from other brands... The latter looks weird. I like what has been done to the rear lights. They look quite modern. But not sure why all those black pieces around the lower part of the car. They look silly. It is the damn vice of every manufacturer to make evident the car we are seeing is an EV.

Just look at what Tesla does with Model S and Model 3. They look like normal cars. Just no grille and no exhausts.

You must have missed the concept... and the spy shots... and the renders.

Personally, from what we've seen so far I can live with the body, but the face (and the interior) - not so much. I'm still not expecting to change my mind upon a full reveal to be honest.

So far looks another wasted opportunity by the German brands regarding EV besides Porsche and soon Audi seems BMW and Mercedes designers and EV don't match...The interior from the pics above are a mess ...Previous gen Mercedes style screen and even more bigger Mercedes style door seat adjustmentss and look strange aswell and the Audi style airvent besides the center I drive not much BMW design inspiration in here in my opinion.

I'd have rather a more traditional BMW style cockpit also, but people seem to complain about that too when a new BMW is launched. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I often criticized manufacturers for making electrified version of their cars as oppose to original EVs, I made it clear regarding BMW with the iX3, but boy, seeing this, I wish they made an iX5 or iX7 as oppose to this....

They want new but that doesn't automatically mean any new should be welcomed.
