Official Thread BMW Vision Neue Klasse

Love BMW M for doing this. Has the typical awesome M3 broad shoulders and widened wheel arches with massive tyres. Looking forward to seeing this car in the flesh.

I suspect that the standard "non-M" configurations will look great as well. Bravo BMW !

I keep looking at those monstrous new chargers they have over there at the M Testcenter 😳 Those probably charge up these NK cars in no time.
I can definitely see a hassle free EV experience with one of those in front of my house @Big Sam ;)

The new electric M3* is currently number one on my radar to replace my Macan Turbo in 2027 when it's released. Only if BMW don't get silly with the price, however.

* I say "M3", because it's not going to be called iM3, apparently. I find this decision odd. The marketing is already pushing the benefits of the electric drivetrain of the VDX, yet they're almost ashamed to call it an "i". It's mixed messaging.

It'll be a bargain compared to Porsche prices, that's a given.

Why on earth would they even use the letter "i"?
There is no injection. iM3 sounds extremely stupid to be honest. Just call it M3 then.

Its the car that I,ROBOT drives after he got rid of his Audi RSQ lol.

Because "i" is BMW's nomenclature for their electric cars. And not only that, the latest petrol cars are dropping the "i", as started with the new 1 Series. You know this, Klier.

i3
i4
i5
i7
iX1
iX3
iX

Calling it iM3 fits in exactly with the pattern. The only reason they've decided to call it just "M3" is because they want to milk the "M3" cache for all it's worth, and they feel "iM3" takes away from that.

i stems from project-i, which for any useful purpose meant "innovation".

I'd be more concerned why it's got an M in it's name. Where you competing bro? Where's the motorsport yo? Pfft.. punk ass bitch didn't even arrive in time for ETCR.

While the proportions of the silhouette are distinctly less cabin-back than those of the G50, they seem to work well on the NA0.

I can't wait for the camouflage to be completely stripped. The NA0 could be a very special sedan indeed.

As I thought it’s Aerodynamic packet is influenced by the VDE concept. Maybe not as extreme power wise. But visually the same.
