^"Instead over "quattro", Audi should have written "MOVE OVER" in reverse"* - WINNER! :D

I've made up my mind now: This is the most insane car Audi has ever built. I love it! And It's so much cooler then the RS7

Short test in Sport Auto: they borrowed the straightline-numbers directly from AMS. Blah! :shifty:
Hockenheimring short: 1:13,7 min.

Haha, a short test indeed, if they borrowed test-numbers from AMS :D

Finally Sport Auto is in my hands.

Few points of the short test:
- The article was written by an AMS-author, also all the data came from AMS. What a surprise.
- The guy talks about "Launch Control"... (according to the author of AutoBild Sportscars the ZF-automatic allows a starting revs of 2800 rpm, but it's no real Launch Control).
- Hockenheimring: the tyres last only 1 hotlap (1:13,7 min), after that the car started to behave heavily understeered.
- Ceramic brakes are powerful and fading-free.
- Their independent Supertest will be out on the 16th of August.

RS6 comes with an ordinary auto box? I didn't realise this....
The 8 speed is great no doubt, but a car of this caliber needs something sportier.

I'm really amazed why the RS6 doesnt have the S-Tronic box...? I mean, my Q5 has it! C'mon Audi.

I believe it has to do with the S-Tronic's torque limitation. Or at least that is the reason Evo gave why A6 3.0TDI with (479lbft) of torque doesn't use it.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
