7 Series [Official] 2019 BMW 7 series LCI

The BMW 7 Series is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured and marketed by the German automaker BMW since 1977. It is the successor to the BMW E3 "New Six" sedan. The 7 Series is BMW's flagship car and is only available in a sedan bodystyle (including long wheelbase and limousine models). It traditionally introduces technologies and exterior design themes before other models in BMW's lineup.

^ Decently, one has to admit that THE 7 is the clear winner in the looks department. It displays a very classic, majestic and crisp and impactful design philosophy that will mature beautifully. Even the interior looks better than that of the S-Class, which had it not had the gargantuan screen, would have looked more refined and more solid, just how THE 7 feels to be. Stylistically, the S-Class won't age well with its "sensual purity" blandness.

Lol the grill is shit ruins the whole car that and the boring ass interior.
The rear though is one of the best innthe market, nice to ser them got he vag route with the lightbar. Very Porsche/Audi/Bugatti of them.
Those headlight with a normal sized grill would be something to write Home about.
This is just wierd now.

Collegues just showed me more photos of it, I'll see if I can share some of them. My conclusion: Exterior is nearly perfect for a modern 7-series. Personally, I would have made the grille a little smaller (the upper section in the hood half as high, in particular) and its overall outline still a little more rectangular and less trapezoidal. On the inside, there would have been a plethora of not overly expensive yet very effective changes to introduce some spectacle to the cabin without taking away any of its timeless and subtle elegance.
Anyway, I see a very positive signal in that LCI. BMW (unlike Audi) believes in their luxury cars and further enhances their presence. Gets my hopes high for the next ALL-new 7-series.

M760Li is retuned from 610PS to 585PS,750Li from 450PS to 530PS,750Li become the most attractive model.
For U.S models, power for the V12 in the M760Li remains at 600hp BUT, it's very easy to overlook unless you pay close attention to the specs, that engine torque output has been increased by 37 lb-ft (50 Nm) from the pre-LCI 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) to now 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) @ 1550-5000rpm:):geek:

I like everything. Everything, but the grille. Now, I don't hate it, in fact, I am a bit more convinced of it with official pics (you were right, @bmwblog) but I need to see it in person. Interior upgrade is standard pactice with updates tech as there was very little that was wrong with the pre-LCI interior to begin with. No doubt, that fabled second screen would have been nice, but that ought to have been done from the G11/12's intro in 2015 to really take advantage of the "wow" factor. I hope they haven't gotten rid of those twin 5-spoke wheels for the M-sport pack.

On the inside...

My exact sentiments regarding the grille.

The power and torque band of the V12 is very impressive.

I like it very much. Unlike the extensive LCI they did on the E65, this does not bucther the car but naturally enhances it. Btw did i understand correctly that the car is 5 cm taller ?

Always a ray of sunshine. Truly you are a human sunbeam...Never Change.:D

The exterior is amazing! Though Im not sure that BMW need to go this far with LCI. Anyhow it is so stunning and now it can reclaim back the flagship status of BMW lineup without any doubt. The update is so design forward, it felt like a generation ahead. A very nice and balanced translation from the VLF concept to reality.
On the other hand, IMO, the interior where I felt needs the most update was untouched (in term of designs) it remains as old as its gonna get, now that with the new era of BMW's interior designs language was introduced, this 7's interior scream cost-cutting design concept even louder.
But overall to me the exterior is by far one of the most balanced and design forward BMW came up with, congrats to the design team in bringing such an amazing design to the brand. Good job!

The more I see it, the more I think this is the way the G11 should have looked like upon introduction in 2015.

Very curious and in fact confident about the way the next 7er is going to look like, indeed.
