Judging by the W223 prototypes. I reckon S-Klasse will get smaller head lights and a Grille the size of the BMW.

That may well be true, but the execution is what matters. It's possible to do imposing vertical grille well, it's possible to do large grille small headlights well. I don't feel BMW have done either... and I think the later vertically slatted Maybach-S grille looks dreadful compared to the standard S-Class offerings, yet it looks pretty good on the va...
Do you think Mercedes are abandoning the V-shape Grille in favour of a more rounded or upturned Grille to accommodate the new uniform headlight outline?
@Matski actually, the rating system works quite well in these cases. While I tend to appreciate your sense of humor, it cannot be dennied it tends to be quite partial and always targetted to the same places. In my case, the old rating is simply an educated way of trying to stimulate your creativity.
