I think they have losen it after the 60s, with their last proper beautiful car being the Lancia Fulvia Sport.Zagato lost the plot on this one, totally
During the "coachbuilder" era they did many, from the Aston DB4 Zagato, pre and post war Alfas (6C, 8C, TZ) to several Maserati; but the only official/regular production cars I can think of are some Lancias. At that time, Lancia hired different design studios for the diverse body styles. So one studio designed the sedan, another the coupe, other the cabrio, etc.It seems that it will be? Is there a history of Zagato designing a real official car of a particular brand as advertised here? like Bertone etc.?
Thanks for sharing this beauty, I have never seen this car before and it just highlights how stunning many classic Alfas were in their haydays. On a second thought after watching the video you posted, it seems they're not taking the inspiration from the TZ cars, but from the Alfa Junior Zagato:

And the SWB nomenclature gives me more clues; just look at this baby:![]()
Both look fokken ugly Rolf. If you’re going to make a “special” then at least make it especially good to look at. For these amounts of money, middle-class me says “neither”. I understand they’re collector’s pieces, designed to be housed in luxury facilities, but I want cars to drive and not look at.Ok here is a good internal combustion question, given the choice at the same money, this or a new BMW 3.0 CSL? I personally would choose this as it looks a whole lot sexier and more Desirable with a capital D.
Is the Giulia SWB €750,000 too?Ok here is a good internal combustion question, given the choice at the same money, this or a new BMW 3.0 CSL? I personally would choose this as it looks a whole lot sexier and more Desirable with a capital D.
